Why Do I?

When I expressed him my side, he left saying some unusual things doing some unusual acts. I went behind him begged him, which I shouldn't.  Now I have learnt "jissay jana hai o chala jaye zindagi se". Why do I always have to make efforts. Now I wanted to see when I don't make efforts do they stay?
